01
Our commitment
Tslabase does not knowingly do business with anyone attempting to launder money, finance terrorism, evade sanctions, or commit financial fraud. We build controls to detect and stop such activity, and we cooperate fully with lawful requests from regulators and law enforcement.
02
Know Your Customer
Before you can withdraw funds — and, above certain thresholds, before you can deposit — we verify your identity. Verification is handled by a regulated third-party provider and typically requires:
- A government-issued photo ID.
- A live selfie for face-match.
- Your legal name, date of birth, and residential address.
03
Enhanced due diligence
For high-value accounts, politically-exposed persons, or activity patterns that trigger our monitoring rules, we may ask for additional documentation — source of funds, source of wealth, employment or business records.
04
Sanctions & watchlists
Every account is screened against major sanctions lists (OFAC, UN, EU, UK) at onboarding and re-screened periodically. Positive matches result in blocked accounts and, where required, reports to authorities.
05
Transaction monitoring
Deposits, withdrawals, and internal transfers are monitored for patterns associated with money laundering: structuring, rapid in-and-out flows, chargeback abuse, mismatched geographies, and unusual velocity. Suspicious activity is flagged for human review.
06
Reporting
Where legally required, we file suspicious activity reports with the relevant financial intelligence unit. We are prohibited from telling you when a report has been filed on your account.
07
Record keeping
Identity and transaction records are retained for the minimum period required by law (typically 5 years after the account is closed) and then deleted or anonymised.
